Student rental contract and agreed rent
The university student lease is the Italian contract designed for students living away from home. It is governed by article 5(2)-(3) of Law 431/1998 and the Ministerial Decree of 16 January 2017, and in Rovigo it follows the municipal Territorial Agreement.
A proper, registered lease protects you if problems arise with the landlord and is required for the off-site student rent tax deduction.
